What does that mean, exactly?
Respect for the products we sell.
We are not just slinging coffee and pastries. Our business is specialty coffee and fresh baked-goods, and it is our goal to ensure we are serving the highest quality product.
All of our coffee, supplied by a local roaster, will be sold with clearly labeled roast dates. Our baked-goods will be baked fresh daily.
We will not compromise on quality.
For example, if a barista pulls a shot of espresso for a latté that does not meet our idea of a good shot, he or she will simply not use it, rather than try overcompensating with extra milk. We will stay committed to making perfect drinks. The same commitment will be given to our baked-goods.
Respect for the customer we serve.
Customer service embodies many things. Foremost is efficient, honest, and friendly service. By listening and communicating, we believe we can create a partnership with our customer.
Customer service also means that the customer can expect clean and comfortable surroundings. Cleanliness is paramount. Clean freaks welcome here.

Our aim is always to be aware of our community and to be exemplary citizens in that community. To that end, we will endeavor to foster relationships with local neighborhood advisory committees and business groups.
